According to Xinhuanet, in October 2023, the Shenyang Cell Center officially became the 10th and Chinese mainland in the world through the review of the Association for the Promotion of Blood and Biological Therapy (AABB). Through the double certification organization of "umbilical Cord Blood and Adult Stem cells", the Shenyang Cell Center achieved a major breakthrough in the field of stem cells in Northeast China.

What is AABB?

"AABB" means "Association for the Advancement of Blood&Biotherapies", and the Chinese name is "Association for the Promotion of Blood and Biotherapy". 

Founded in 1947, AABB is an international non-profit organization that promotes the development of blood transfusion medicine and biotherapy. It is composed of scientists, researchers, doctors, nurses and medical technicians from more than 80 countries and regions around the world. 

The high standard certification established by AABB has been adopted by countries all over the world to improve the quality of blood and cell products and improve clinical medical standards. 

The annual meeting of AABB is also the leading international event in the field of cell biotherapy in the world.

The significance of AABB double Authentication
